Salman Khan born Abdul Rashid Salim Salman Khan on 27 December 1965 is an Indian film actor, producer, television presenter, and philanthropist. The son of actor and screenwriter Salim Khan, Khan began his acting career with Biwi Ho To Aisi but it was his second film Maine Pyar Kiya in which he acted in a lead role that garnered him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. Khan has starred in several commercially successful films, such as Saajan (1991), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), Karan Arjun (1995), Judwaa (1997), Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998), Biwi No.1 (1999), and Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999), having appeared in the highest grossing film nine separate years during his career, a record that remains unbroken.

In 1999, Khan won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his extended guest appearance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). In 2011, he won the Screen Award for Best Actor for his performance in Dabangg and in 2012, he won the Best Actor Popular Choice for his performances in Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2. Eight of the films he has acted in, have accumulated gross earnings of over 100 crore (US$18 million) worldwide. He played leading roles in five consecutive blockbusters including Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, and Dabangg 2. He has starred in more than 80 Hindi films and thus far has established himself as a leading actor of Hindi cinema.

Early life

Khan is the eldest son of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma (née Sushila Charak). His paternal grandfather was a Muslim from Afghanistan who immigrated to India and settled in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Khan's mother is reported to be a Maratha Hindu. His family celebrate Islamic and Hindu festivals such as Maha Shivaratri and Ganesh Chaturthi. In 2010 Khan said that he is "half Muslim and half Hindu". His stepmother is Helen, a former actress, who has co-starred with him in a few films. He has two brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, and two sisters, Alvira and Arpita. Alvira is married to actor/director Atul Agnihotri. Khan finished his schooling at St. Stanislaus High School in Bandra, Mumbai, as did his younger brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. Personal life

Fakhri was born into a Muslim family in Queens, New York to a Czech mother and a Pakistani father. Her parents divorced each other when she was barely six or seven years old. Fakhri is a U.S. citizen. When asked about her father's homeland, she revealed that she has never visited Pakistan but in 2012 she visited Pakistan where she became the brand ambassador of Pakistani network service Mobilink with Ali Zafar.. Her favourite hobbies include cooking, meditation and yoga.

Career

Fakhri appeared on America's Next Top Model Cycles 2 and 3 in 2004. She posed for the 2009 Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar. In 2011, she made her feature film debut in the Bollywood film, Rockstar, alongside Ranbir Kapoor which was released on November 11, 2011. Fakhri is currently signed on for a three film contract with Akshay Kumar's Hari Om Productions.

Chitrangada, born March 28, 1976 is an Indian film actress.She is best known for his role in Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi (2005) and its first conventional commercial film, Desi Boyz (2011). She is married to Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa.

Early years

Chitrangada Singh was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to an Indian army officer (Col. Niranjan Singh) in a Jat family. Her brother is golfer Digvijay Singh. Digvijay and Tina are his brothers. As a child, she was known by the appearance of the late actress Smita Patil. "You've exceeded Smita Patil," said Shekhar Kapur, when he saw Chitrangada Singh's performance in his debut film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2003). She received training in Kathak (classical dance) and enjoyed acting.

Career

She began her career in Delhi as a model before making the transition to the big screen. After completing her studies, she entered modeling, where her ad credits include ICICI bank and Alukkas Jewellery, and gradually shifting to music videos, Gulzar was presented at the "Sunset Point". It was in a music video of singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, that was discovered by director Sudhir Mishra production. Later, he made his acclaimed debut with Sudhir Mishra's film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi in 2003. The paper had its great acclaim: A Post Review Washington is noted for giving "her character a deep sense of dignity and decency." After that Chitrangada starred in the 2005 film Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow. Chitrangada made her debut as item girl in Shirish Kunder's Joker. She also has to lend her voice to the film score.

She took a break from acting from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, she made her comeback with the leading role opposite Sanjay Suri in the director Onir romantic comedy, Sorry Bhai!. Its opening weekend of the Mumbai terror attacks proved disastrous at the box office.

In Sudhir Mishra's movie Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), Chitrangada played the role of an aspiring singer from Delhi who goes to Mumbai to get fame and money. Then he starred in Rohit Dhawan's Desi Boyz, where he played the role of a teacher of the economy to Akshay Kumar. Desi Boyz also starred John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Chitrangada is the brand ambassador of Airtel, Parachute, Puma, Borges olive oil, Garnier, Aliva Crackers, Taj Mahal Jewellers Joyalukkas tea. She unveiled the new bag collection of Tanishq in Mumbai on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the afternoon.

His latest film is that, Me Aur Main, a debut by Kapil Sharma starring John Abraham and Prachi Desai.
